Shelly Duncan, 34, of Kilcarrig Crescent, Tallaght, pleaded guilty to having no insurance, no driving licence and failing to produce her insurance certificate at Kilcarrig Crescent on 30th January 2011.

Garda Michael Groarke told Judge Victor Blake that on the above date he stopped Duncan and asked her to produce her driving licence and insurance certificate at a Garda station of her choice within 10 days. Duncan failed to produce the documents.

Duncan’s solicitor asked Judge Blake not to impose a disqualification as she had bought the car for €400 with a view to selling it on. Judge Blake fined Duncan €500 and imposed a two year ban for driving uninsured, €150 for having no licence and €100 for failing to produce her insurance certificate.
