Our Client is a Taxi Driver and on the day of the accident he was working out of Dublin Airport.  He had parked his Taxi in the Taxi Holding Area and was on his way to get a cup of coffee from the canteen, the next thing he knew is that he was thrown up in the air and he landed on the ground.  It transpired he had been hit by another Taxi.

Our Client was taken by Ambulance to Beaumont Hospital where he was treated in the Emergency Department, and then released.   After this he was in the care of his G.P.

The Airport Police investigated the accident.

We got into correspondence with the Insurance Company for the Third Party (the other Taxi Driver) and our Client's G.P. on the 20th February, 2017.   In a Medical Report his Doctor confirmed that our Client had sustained muscular injury to his neck and lumbar spine and that he had also pulled his Achilles tendon.  The Doctor was satisfied that the injuries would resolve completely.

In early December our Client confirmed that he was ready to settle his Claim.   We contacted the Insurance Company who offered a settlement of €13,072.00 to include vouched out of pocket expenses.  Our Client was happy with this offer.  We received the settlement on the 5th January, 2018.
