MOLDOVAN  CLIENT  INVOLVED  IN  CLAIM  WHILE  A  PASSENGER  IN  A  TAXI  ON  M50  SETTLES  HIS  CASE  FOR  €10,000.00.

Client, who is a Moldavan Citizen, got into a Taxi in Dublin Airport.   He was on his way to his home.  The Taxi was travelling along the M50 in the direction of Blanchardstown when it was hit on the back passenger door which resulted in the Taxi skidding and eventually coming to a stop.  Client hit his head off the Door.

He attended his G.P. who sent him to the Emergency Department in Connolly Hospital,  Blanchardstown where he was diagnosed with having a slight concussion.  He was feeling nauseous, suffering with headaches and getting sick for a time after the accident.

We got into correspondence with the Taxi Driver who reported the accident to his Insurance Company.   We then wrote to this Insurance Company.  After a period of six  months we were informed by the Insurance Company for the Taxi Driver that the Insurance Company representing the driver of the car which hit said Taxi, being a Hire Car, was admitting liability.

After detailed correspondence the Insurance Company came to us on the 19th December, 2017 with an offer of settlement of €10,000.00.    We put this offer to our Client who was happy to settle his Claim.
