A Youth accused of a serious assault will be tried in the Circuit Court.
Harminder Singh aged 22, with an address in Ellensborough Tallaght is charged with assault causing harm at Nutgrove Shopping Centre, on September 15, 2009.
The case was before Judge James McDonnell in Tallaght District Court for the attendance of a Punjabi interpreter.
The Court heard it will be alleged Singh seriously assaulted a man on the above date and kicked him to the head. Judge McDonnell refused Jurisdiction. A solicitor for the DPP said the book of evidence would be ready in a week. Judge McDonnell remanded Kumar on continuing bail for a week for service of the book of evidence.
