A MAN accused of a serious assault on another man in Wheatfield Prison had his case sent forward for trial to the Circuit Court this week in Kilmainham District Court.  Robert Young aged 32 with an address at Windmill Road Crumlin is charged with assaulting Tom Dunne causing harm at Wheatfield Prison, Cloverhill Road in Ballyfermot on September 27 2004.

This week Young was before Judge Timothy Lucey for service of the Book of Evidence.   Solicitor for the DPP, Jane McKevitt told the Judge that the book had been served and added that the DPP had consented for Young to have his case sent forward for trial to the present sitting of the Circuit Court.

Noting that the Book had been served Judge Lucey sent Young forward in custody with consent to bail to the present sitting of the Circuit.
