ACCUSED OF HEROIN DEALING

A WOMAN accused of pushing heroin will face a Circuit Court trial if she pleads not guilty, Tallaght Court has heard.

Solicitor for the DPP, Tom Conlon told Judge James McDonnell that the DPP had directed summary disposal only on a plea of guilty in Sharon Tighe’s case. 

Tighe, aged 42 with an address at Rthminton Crescent, Tallaght is charged with simple possession of heroin and possession of heroin for sale or supply at the above addresss on June 27 2008.

Mrs Conlon told the Court that the alleged heroin had a value of 3,700.  Tighe was represented by Solicitor Padraig O’Donovan. 

Judge McDonnell remanded Tighe on continuing bail for a month for mention.
